The ocean surface is crafted from freshwater pearl powder pulverized, mixed with epoxy resin, and poured to create a luminous, swirling pink finish — a technically demanding process requiring precise temperature control throughout production.

Every country on the globe is individually inlaid with a different stone, hand-cut and ground to interlocking shapes, then polished and set with meticulous attention to detail. Latitude and longitude lines are formed from thin ribbons of polished brass embedded directly into the globe surface. Each globe passes through ten individual production steps and requires over 500 hours of skilled labor to complete.

Stones used include lapis lazuli, mother of pearl, amethyst, African jade, tiger's eye, jasper, turquoise, purple quartz, onyx, unakite, abalone, green marble, and many more richly veined and vividly hued minerals. The globe rests on a polished gold brass stand, finished with an acrylic resin protective coating for lasting durability.
